Fool on a Hill

Sydney-based artist Euan Macleod presents Fool on a Hill. Born in 1956 in Christchurch, Macleod is an acclaimed painter who has won major Australian art prizes including the Archibald Prize (1999), the Tattersalls Landscape Art Prize (2000, 2009), the Sulman Prize (2001), the Blake Prize (2006), and the Dobell Drawing Prize (2021). His work is held in prominent public collections including Te Papa Tongarewa, the National Gallery of Australia, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Macleod has been Artist in Residence at locations worldwide, from Alayrac in France to Dusky Sound in New Zealand.
