The artist introduces his work through a Samuel Beckett quote on form and chaos in art, exploring how artistic form can accommodate disorder without reducing chaos to something else.

The exhibition includes oil, acrylic, and pencil works on canvas and linen ranging from monumental to intimate scales—from drone (wt) at 1100 x 1400mm to small ceramic and object studies. Several paintings reference Beckett texts through their titles and incorporated quotations, including study for lumpy mattress (wt), do this do that..., and studies for Ab and Ab2, each exploring spatial and existential themes through abstraction and figuration.

Additional works include glazed earthenware pieces, a peanut with certificate, and a red ceramic disc, demonstrating Poppelwell's engagement across multiple materials and dimensions.
