Art Leven (formerly Cooee Art) is Australia's longest-established gallery dedicated to contemporary First Nations art, founded in 1981. Under the direction of Mirri Leven, it operates a hybrid model of exhibitions, auctions, and private sales, working closely with First Nations artists, curators, and art centres across Australia. The gallery prioritises ethical practice and cultural integrity, with staff regularly travelling to remote and regional communities to develop exhibitions and build relationships with artists.
