The Shop Gallery

The Shop Gallery is owned and run by sculptor Hilik Mirankar and writer/visual artist Anna Couani, who both maintain studios in the building. The gallery accepts artworks in any mode—object art, site-specific installations, performance—without commission, allowing artists to run their own shows. It operates on a non-discriminatory, non-elitist policy and provides a ground-floor space with exhibition rooms, a garden courtyard, and equipment including a hanging system, plinths, and a digital projector.
