Licking the World

Licking the World has developed out of a 2-year engagement with lichen growing in the artist's local area on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Central Victoria. The exhibition of video, works on paper, embroidery and found objects meditates on the intersections of lichen in natural and cultural history, their relation to deep time and carbon cycles, alongside their connection to scientific imaging and the queering of Linnaean taxonomy.
