Black Myth

Charting a path from the shadowy depths to the resplendent heights. Exploring the darker side of myth in the modern world, Black Myth draws inspiration from the viral video game Black Myth: Wukong (2024), a contemporary retelling of the legendary novel Journey to the West. Echoing its spiritual quest, the exhibition traces the concept of the journey in many forms—from physical travel to time travel, from internal odysseys to cosmic voyages. The artists in this exhibition, show us that sometimes, we must pass through the darkness to get to the light.
