Primary Lines

Cobi Cockburn's artistic practice centers on the materiality of glass examined through a contemporary lens. Surveying the transitory space between known subject matter and visceral associations, through the expressive language of line and colour, her works engage with the subconscious, evoking innate emotions and drawing on historical, physical, and emotional contexts. Purposefully void of direct references, the works question perception, acknowledge universality, and contemplate personal narratives.
