Colin Pennock presents a body of work exploring the relationship between scale, perception, and landscape. The exhibition features paintings ranging from intimate studies of natural details to expansive wall-sized compositions that envelope the viewer. Rather than depicting specific places, Pennock's works resist conventional landscape logic, using painterly marks and gestural lines to create sensations suspended between abstraction and representation. The paintings operate in a liminal space—neither fully resolved nor dissolved—inviting viewers to engage with the edge between the tangible and the ephemeral. Works include oil paintings on board and linen, with dimensions ranging from small framed studies to a monumental 12-panel composition.
