An exhibition celebrating Graham Hallett's 25 years with Lost Bear Gallery. Hallett is a practicing artist of nearly 50 years based in the upper Blue Mountains. The landscape serves as an enduring motif in his work, with the theme of land and its presence remaining constant throughout his practice. Produced in the studio from observation, sketch notes and imagination, these works are not bound to the portrayal of a particular place or scene, but rather function as independent worlds—memories and encounters. The forms of the land, shaped by time and the elements, provide a visual vocabulary that Hallett tunes and arranges as composition.
