Walmajarri artist John Prince Siddon presents a monumental 15-metre wall painting for the MCA's 2026 Circular Quay Foyer Wall Commission. Worra Munga! Ernie and Bert Dreamtime voice draws on the Narrangkarni, a First Nations worldview associated with the Kimberley that illustrates the interconnectedness of all things. Across the vast mural, animals from different ecosystems—witchetty grubs, praying mantises, magpie geese, brolgas, reef fish and kangaroos—are depicted in peaceful co-existence, witnessed by a weeping Ancestral figure. Characters from pop culture appear alongside these creatures, reflecting the artist's self-described 'all mixed up' approach. Prince, whose family history has been shaped by displacement and colonisation, dedicates this vision of an empathetic collective future to young people experiencing conflict around the world.
