Lost presents paintings by Kyra Henley documenting contemporary decline and social disorientation. Works including Horse, Lost, Party Salads, Swimmers, The Gardener, Occasion, The Devil's Marbles, Hotel, and Business Volcano use visual metaphor to examine themes of anxiety, environmental degradation, technological saturation, and late-stage capitalism. Figures in these works—whether equine, domestic, aquatic, or social—exist in states of tension and panic. Henley's painted sutras invite viewers to alchemise their own understanding of our disoriented times rather than remain passive witnesses to collective self-destruction.
