Savour

Savour is an exciting new body of work by Olive Gill-Hille that follows the artists selection as a finalist in the National Gallery of Victoria's prestigious Rigg Design Prize 2025 and subsequent major acquisition of Memento by The Gallery. Continuing themes at the centre of Memento, Gill-Hille returns to explore the idea that we are natural gatherers, drawn to objects and collecting memories through physical tokens. The works in Savour each preserve a moment, a thought, a fragment of time – shaped by the artist, they will soon be carried forward into new homes and new lives.
