Moksa is a collaborative work by 12 Krack Studio artists created in the aftermath of a devastating studio fire in May 2025. The artists developed a unique screen-printing technique: printing images in glue and sprinkling ashes from their destroyed works to reveal the final pieces. In a performative, ceremonial manner, they transformed loss into creation—turning tragedy into art and despair into a symbol of renewal. Moksa represents liberation, transcendence, and the enduring spirit of the Krack collective. Krack Studio continues from a new location with its core group of printmakers and collaborators, committed to responding critically to events, developments, and cultural debates of the Asia Pacific region. The exhibition also features HAZARD, a complementary series by Krack artists Malcolm Smith, Rudi Hermawan, and Alfin Agnuba.
