SOJOURN continues Suzy Strout's exploration of landscapes. The exhibition investigates what draws us to certain places and why some remain in our memories—whether through colour, land forms, personal connections, or visual detail. Works include scenes from the Victorian Mallee, central Australia's empty spaces, coastal seascapes, mountain vistas, and local urban scenes. Strout is a Sydney-based artist who initially trained at the Australian Ballet School and worked for over 35 years in performance and theatrical costume design before returning to visual art. Her practice spans landscape, portraiture, and figurative work across multiple media.
