In his paintings, Wayne Eager seeks harmony through the interplay of line, shape, and colour within the two-dimensional space of canvas and paper. Through numerous layers of overpainting, he works towards clarity of space without defining literal objects. His influences and inspirations are drawn from a wide range of art and music spanning from ancient to modern times across many cultures and genres.
