Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū is a contemporary art gallery in Ōtautahi Christchurch that functions as a catalyst for artistic creation and ambition in the city. Under director Blair Jackson, the gallery prioritises commissioning new work from inception through acquisition, with a collection that serves as the city's cultural treasury. Current exhibitions include surveys and immersive installations engaging with New Zealand modernism, Pacific tāoga, and environmental legacies, alongside the gallery's role as exhibition delivery partner for artist Fiona Pardington's presentation at the 2026 Venice Biennale.
