Michael Reid Gallery

Michael Reid operates a network of contemporary art galleries with flagship spaces in Sydney's Chippendale and Berlin. The Sydney gallery, at 109 Shepherd Street, focuses on contemporary Australian art. Beyond the main galleries, the group runs regional platforms including Murrurundi (a combined art, design, and dining destination in regional NSW), a Northern Beaches location in Newport, and Clay, a gallery dedicated to ceramic and pottery art. A Board of Directors was formally instituted in late 2023—described as a first for a commercial art gallery in Australia—with Michael Reid serving as Chair.
